VINTAGE EXCELSIOR HENDERSON motorcycle headlight Spot Light mirror indian harley

I have no bulb but ran power through the light and is working. switch is behind the mirror and is also working. the wire looks original dirty and is a little over 7 feet long in good condition. looks like it is spliced once, possibly twice. inside the egg looking housing is about 10 feet of nice wire. on a spring loaded spool which feels strong and works well. sucks it in quick but you have to use your finger to move the wire up and down so the wire is level on the spool. the light unscrews and you can hold it by the switch behind the mirror. fits your hand well so you wont drop it. I dont know if it may have been a police or military item. inside the egg housing is clean. light surface rust in a spot. I never took the main light front mirror out. the gasket is old and hardened. the glass has a few tiny chips on the edge that are hidden. outer lens has some scratches but not too bad. has one newer looking on on the side that is pretty deep. others not so much. bezel has a few small dents on the edge but good. bracket looks to be in good condition so I think with a bulb you could mount and use the light as it is. has 6 volt dc painted on the body as shown. on the side of the headlight is a excelsior Henderson sticker or logo. Im nearly positive its a henderson. looks factory but could have been added on. I dont know if henderson ever produced something like this or not. it has been painted over with black but you can see the upper right part of the logo pretty well. and the RS in henderson across the center is pretty clear. Ive never tried to get the over paint off but it may be possible if you know what your doing. looks like a good part of the logo is still there.  thanks for looking
